Good fences. Clear expectations.
We believe great work begins with good communication. Here's what you can expect before and during your fence installation.
Estimates & pricing
Our estimates include the agreed scope of work, materials, disposal, applicable taxes, and permits as specified in your proposal.
Estimates are valid for 45 days. Any changes to the project scope or materials may require an updated estimate.
Deposits & payments
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due within 72 hours of project completion.
We accept cash, check, and credit card. Credit card payments are subject to a processing fee.
Preparing your property
Fence installation involves digging, trimming, hauling materials, and operating equipment. To help us work safely and efficiently, please:
- Move plants, decorations, furniture, and personal belongings away from the work area.
- Keep pets and children safely away from active construction areas.
- Keep vehicles clear of the work area and provide reasonable access for our crews.
- Let us know about private underground utilities, irrigation lines, or other hidden obstacles.
If trees, shrubs, or other obstacles need to be trimmed or removed, we'll discuss the options with you before proceeding.
Property & landscaping
We take reasonable precautions to protect your property and minimize disruption. However, some disturbance to grass, soil, and landscaping is a normal part of fence installation.
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or unavoidable damage resulting from normal construction activities, except where caused by our negligence.
Permits & property lines
We'll coordinate required permits as outlined in your estimate.
If a permit requires a plot map or survey, the property owner is responsible for providing the necessary documentation.
Property owners are responsible for confirming property boundaries and any applicable HOA requirements unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Changes & unexpected conditions
If we encounter unexpected conditions or additional work is needed, we'll explain the situation and obtain your approval before proceeding with any additional charges.
Our commitment
We'll treat your property with respect, communicate throughout the project, and work to leave your space clean and your new fence ready to enjoy.
